Once upon a time, a royal couple fell in love with and purchased a home on East 70th Street in Lenox Hill that offered a unique combination of seldom seen qualities in a storied building. It was as if a magic wand was waved, and they lived there happily for a very long time.

Little did the young royals know at the time that their purchase was a bit "Hotel California-Ish": "... You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave ". After years in their wonderful home, the now wiser couple seized an opportunity to purchase an even larger home in the building. The seller of their new apartment also remained in the building, purchasing a home with private outdoor space. As their needs change, neighbors routinely move within the building because they love it. And those who do move away remain lifelong friends.
